The Manassas Park wrestling team traveled to Salem Virginia Saturday to face off against every other Single A team in the state and claimed the championship Saturday—the school's 11th title in its history.
One of the smallest districts in the state, Manassas Park holds only 14000 residents and 3000 students, but they know how to focus. Wrestlers as young as 5 years old begins with the Cougar Wrestling Club, meeting twice a week at the middle schools' special wrestling room. Obviously the Park's dedication to one of the world's oldest martial arts is paying off, with 5 state championships in the last eight years.
